D7.4. Results of the tools validation and benchmarking

This document provides a comprehensive final report on the implementation, validation, and performance of the tools developed by IDUNN within the use cases defined throughout the project. Additionally, it includes an updated benchmarking analysis originally presented in deliverable D7.2, now incorporating data up to month M36 of the project, thereby enhancing the relevance of the performance assessment with the latest information. The document’s main goal is to demonstrate the correct functionality of the IDUNN tools in the project's representative environments, particularly in the pilot scenarios, which are essential for evaluating real-world applications. To achieve this, the document begins by detailing the final architecture of the pilot environments, explaining how the tools were integrated and the processes followed to ensure compatibility and efficiency. Furthermore, it highlights the added value provided by the tools compared to their initial state prior to the project, outlining the enhancements and optimizations made. Throughout the project, a series of validation tests were conducted to assess the tools' technical robustness, scalability, and integration within the pilot environments. These validation efforts are supported by both qualitative and quantitative evidence, confirming that the tools performed as expected under various operational scenarios.
